A single-vehicle collision took place on the Daingean Road, Tullamore, shortly after 10:30am yesterday morning.
A male in his 20s was arrested in connection with the incident under the Road Traffic Act.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before a sitting of Tullamore District Court next month.
