It occurred at 7pm yesterday evening.
Gardaí know they can count on the support of local residents, as they investigate a shooting incident in Tullamore.
That's according to Sergeant Ollie Baker, after shots were fired at house in Arden View shortly before 7 o'clock yesterday evening.
Damage was done to the front of the house, although no one was injured.
Sergeant Baker says they're particularly disturbed that the incident occurred at such a busy time.
He says the area has been affected by a number of incidents in recent times, but is grateful for the co-operation of locals:
SHOOTING: They're following "a definite line of enquiry".
