Gardaí in Laois have confiscated over €28,000 in cash and jewellery.
They made the seizure during a checkpoint in Ballybrittas yesterday following the search of a car and it's driver.
Around €15,000 of cash was uncovered as well as a number of phones and eight pieces of jewellery.
