It comes after a number of instances of tampering with school property.
Gardai in Offaly are appealing to those living near schools to be aware of suspicious behaviour.
It follows a series of incidents in which boundary fencing was removed and electric fencing tampered with.
The incidents occured in the Killina and Rahan areas.
