Gardai in Westmeath have seized a quantity of drugs valued at €137, 600.
During an initial search of a car €2,600 worth of cannabis was discovered, however a follow up search of a house in the Ashe Road area of Mullingar yielded €135,000 in Amphetamines.
A man aged in his thirties has been arrested and is being detained at Mullingar Garda Station.
It's the second large seizure in the Midlands in the last 24 hours after cannabis herb valued at €100,000 was confiscated in Offaly yesterday.
