That's the advice for van drivers from Gardaí in Laois, following multiple thefts of tools from vehicles in the county over the past week.
The latest of those occurred in Portarlington, where drills and grinders were stolen from a van in the Crann Nua area on Wednesday night.
Gardaí are investigating a link between that incident, and a similar theft in Mountmellick on Sunday night, early Monday morning.
Crime Prevention Officer in Laois and Offaly, Sergeant Graham Kavanagh, is encouraging everyone to report such incidents to investigators:
