Gardaí in the county are asking people to have a conversation about bogus callers with the elderly and vulnerable in their communities.
They've also issued a reminder that Gardaí will not call to see if your money is counterfeit, and will not take it from you.
Anyone who sees anything suspicious is being urged to contact their local Garda Station.
