A teenage girl was seriously injured in the collision
Gardaí are renewing their appeal for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in the midlands.
Shortly after 6:15pm, on the 4th of February, emergency services were called to the scene of a collision involving a car and two pedestrians on Tullamore Road, Clara.
One of the pedestrians, a teenage girl, was treated at the scene and subsequently removed to CHI Crumlin for treatment of serious injuries.
The second pedestrian, a teenage boy, was brought to Midland Regional Hospital Tullamore. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
A man in his 40s was arrested in connection with the incident has since been charged.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward. In particular, any road users or pedestrians who may have camera footage including dash-cam or mobile phone footage and were in the area of Tullamore Road, Frederick Street and Bridge Street, Clara, at the time of the collision are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
