Tony Kavanagh died after being hit by a car in Abbeyleix last Wednesday.
Gardaí are renewing an appeal for information in connection with a fatal crash in Laois.
Tony Kavanagh, who was in his 70s, died after being struck by a car on Main Street in Abbeyleix on Wednesday, January 28th.
It happened at around 7pm.
Anyone with information, particularly those who were in the area at the time and have dashcam footage, are asked to contact Gardaí.
