A special operation will be in place across the country to tackle fireworks and antisocial behaviour.
Fireworks are harmful, dangerous and illegal.
That's the message from Gardaí across the Midlands during the Halloween season.
Gardaí have launched a nationwide operation called Tombola, which will ensure extra resources on Halloween night looking out for any person in possession of fireworks, selling them, throwing or lighting them alongside any antisocial behaviour.
Officers say the consequences of releasing fireworks can lead to house fires and severe injuries.
Anyone with information on the illegal selling of fireworks is being asked to contact their local Garda Stations.
