A member of Emo GAA says as young people can't get planning permission it's impacting the numbers in the club.
The growth of a Laois town is being stunted due to an outdated sewerage system.
That's according to Martin Crowley, from Emo GAA, who also says the numbers in the club are declining as young people can't get planning permission for one off houses.
He says there has been no housing development in the area in over 50 years.
Mr. Crowley says there are wonderful facilities in the village but they need more people in it:
