One Portlaoise hairdresser says bookings are filling up for February already.
Hairdressers are appealing to the government to be clearer about lifting of restrictions.
David Finn, from the Style Bar in Portlaoise, says they're currently filling bookings for February but expect they'll have to reschedule those, with the Tánaiste having alluded to the lockdown continuing into March.
He says business-owners are under undue stress because of the lack of communication:
