Minister Donnelly Won't Be Resigning Health Portfolio

Stephen Donnelly takes blame for rental property oversight.

Stephen Donnelly says he's not considering his position as Health Minister, amid controversy over one of his rental properties.

He blamed an oversight for failing to register a property with the RTB since 2019 - and says it's now registered since last week.

It comes amid a renewed focus on landlord TDs, following the resignation of Longford-Westmeath TD Robert Troy as Junior Minister last week over controversy around his 11 properties.

Minister Donnelly says it shouldn't have happened, and it's his fault.
