Healthcare assistants will protest outside his Department this morning as they are not allowed to bring families members here as they don't make enough money as per government rules.
Although the mandated minimum salary increased in January, it only applies to new workers and for some it still won't be enough to meet the threshold.
Unite the Union is assisting with the protest today and spokesperson Michael O'Brien says it's simply unfair on hardworking healthcare staff:
