Funding for a hospice at Tullamore Hospital isn't just a win for the town, but for the midlands as a whole.
That's according to Chairperson of Offaly Hospice, Humphrey O Connor, who says the facility 'will give what has been missing' from the region.
A 20-bed facility has been granted 20 million euro in funding, and will serve 300,000 across Laois, Offaly, Westmeath and Longford.
