The news comes after the sudden death of racecourse manager Paddy Dunican.
Kilbeggan Racecourse's two day meeting scheduled for next week won't be going ahead as planned.
Horse Racing Ireland has confirmed the first day of racing on Thursday evening will take place at Wexford, with the second day being hosted by Downpatrick on Friday evening.
HRI are also confirming the decision is coming off the back of a specific request from Kilbeggan Racecourse Committee.
It comes after the sudden death of the Westmeath track's racecourse manager Paddy Dunican just over a week ago.
