A woman - who was born in Sean Ross Abbey in Roscrea - says the trauma of her mother's experiences never left her.
Colleen Anderson's mother was admitted to the mother and baby home, after being raped aged 14.
Sister Hildegarde - who featured in the movie 'Philomena' - sent Colleen to live with her niece in Chicago.
