A Laois man is in the running for the top spot.
The polling count for the next President of the IFA is taking place today.
Ballinakill's Francie Gorman is one of two in the running for the position, and will be vying to take over from current President, Tommevara's Tim Cullinane.
Mr. Gorman has served as South Leinster Regional Chairman for the organisation and was the Chair of the Laois branch in 2016.
He's running against Limerick's Martin Stapleton.
