Today marks a year since pubs were last open.
A Westmeath publican is hitting out at a lack of support from banks in Ireland.
Today marks a year since pubs were closed, with the country's two vintners' associations launching a hashtag Not Disposable campaign to raise awareness.
Liam Gilleran from Gilleran's Pub in Mullingar says in other EU states, banks are offering moratoriums to struggling publicans - but no such support is offered here.
He says people are desperate for a return to some normality:
#TheFunkyMunky. This day last year we closed our doors for "a fortnight to flatten the curve". 12 months on we are still closed, but let's hope that there are some good times ahead! our pubs are #notdisposable
