Irish Farmers Head To Brussels On Tractors To Protest EU Policies

The IFA President and his son Tom are among those protesting.

The IFA president and his son are on the way to join farmers from across Europe at a protest in Brussels later in the week.

They set off on tractors from the Irish Farm Centre to make the demonstration in Brussels on Thursday. 

Balinakill's Francie Gorman wants a better future for the next generation of farmers with the proper supports from Europe. 

They're concerned about the CAP budget, trade deals including Mercosur and excessive regulation around the cost of doing business.
