It'll cap the cost of an affordable home in Westmeath at €300,000, €275,000 in Offaly, and €250,000 in Laois.
There's also plans for shared equity ownership; stimulating construction, measures aimed at local authority affordable housing schemes and tackling the percentage of social and affordable homes in all new developments.
