Strong winds are leading to widespread power outages.
Hundreds of premises across the midlands remain without power after Storm Ashley.
Mullingar is among the worst affected towns in the region, with 161 customers currently without power.
Scoil Bhride in Clara is closed today following the storm, they say they expect to be reconnected at 6pm this evening.
Nationally, Orange- and Yellow- level winds led to power outages impacting on 53,000 homes, farms and businesses.
The ESB say they're working to repair widespread faults with a current reconnection time of 2pm for faults in Westmeath, and 5.15pm being given for most of the power issues in Offaly.
