A former midlands TD says he has big shoes to fill.
Britain's King Charles has greeted people at Buckingham Palace after travelling back to London following the Queen's death.
The new monarch stopped his car at the gates of the palace and shook people's hands after flying down to London from Balmoral.
He's due to address the British public this evening.
Here, a book of condolensces has opened at the British Embassy in Dublin - for anyone who wishes to pay their respects to the Queen.
