A Westmeath Councillor wants to see a number of sites included on a tourist trail.
Tourist sites in the midlands have been overlooked for too long, according to Labour.
Westmeath Councillor Denis Leonard is proposing a "tourist trail" for the Lake County to increase visitor numbers.
He wants the nature walk in Milltownpass, the old schoolhouse in Kinnegad, and Rahanine Bog in Rochfortbridge to be included.
