Laois is one of the leading counties when it comes to reports to the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission about fuel price gouging.
The CCPC's latest report shows that in the first week of March it received 40 contacts from the county.
Only Dublin, Cork, Galway, Kildare, Wexford and Meath had more.
