A Laois animal rescue group is urging the owner of a dog, found with severe injuries, to come foward.
Dennis, a six year old border terrier, was discovered by a warden in Wexford and appeared to be the victim abuse.

Due to the severity of his condition, he was transferred on to Cara Rescue Dogs, based in Laois.
Volunteer Sinéad Kearney, who picked up Dennis herself, said the nature of his injuries indicates he was subject to long term neglect:
