Barrowline Cruisers are repeating calls to Waterways Ireland to improve maintenance works.
A Laois boat rental business owner is demanding Waterways Ireland step up maintenance on Midlands canals.
Barrowline Cruisers is based at Vicarstown's Grand Canal, and has been experiencing issues this year with ongoing low water levels and overgrown weeds.
While their owner Orla Conroy says weeds have been getting tangled in the boat's propellers, which can cause engine and gearbox issues.
She says this season was their worst yet:
