The Portlaoise branch of La Leche League is raising awareness among mothers and the wider community, to dispell myths and provide information on breastfeeding.
The group - which is also marking its 30th anniversary this year - is inviting people to join their meeting at 10 o'clock this morning in Treo Nua Centre in the town.
