A sexual assault victim wants the planning permission to be withdrawn.

A sexual assault victim is urging Laois County Council to withdraw planning permission for a school to be built near the home of a convicted paedophile.

65 year old John Phelan was jailed for molesting two young brothers, one of whom later took his own life.

The surviving boy, Peter Fitzpatrick, wants parents of the new gaelscoil in Trumera to be aware of his abuser's history - and he doesn't believe Mr. Phelan wants the building to go ahead either:
