Members of Durrow Fire Station will be crowned the Fire and Rescue GreenPlan Champions Team today.
The Greenplan is a 3 step best plan practice for fire stations in following the UN'S sustainable development goals.
Corporate social responsiblity and environmental governance are also covered, with people building up from a Bronze to Gold plan level throughout the programme.
The ceremony takes place at 11 today at the fire station with members of Laois County Council in attendance.
