A Ford Focus was stopped in Portlaoise last night by the Roads Policing Unit.
Laois Gardaí have arrested a driver for a string of offences.
The roads policing unit stopped a Ford Focus in Portlaoise last night and the car had expired tax and NCT, bald front tyres, and €400 of cannabis in the glove box.
The driver failed a roadside drug test and the vehicle was seized.
Court proceedings have begun.
