The Castletown man is raising money for St. James Hospital.
A Laois man is attempting to break an unusual world record at the National Ploughing Championships today.
Castletown's Patrick Kelly will attempt to drive the longest distance in reverse in a tractor and trailer in a day.
The current record is held in India, and boasts a distance of 44.4km.
He's aiming to raise €155,000 in honour of his late mother for new beds at the oncology unit in St. James Hospital.
