A young Laois child with Charge Syndrome is unable to get the care needed to attend school.
"Angry and frustrated" - those are the emotions of a Laois mother unable to place her child in a special school.
Hanna's daughter spent the first year of her life in hospital for treatment for Charge Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that affects several parts of the body.
The two year old is under a HSE package which provides a nurse for 18 hours on weekdays and 20 on weekends.
However, the health body is not allowing the nurse to accompany her to Kolbe Special School where Hanna intends to send her daughter.
