A Laois estate is holding free events this month for senior citizens under a new initiative by the OPW.
Emo Court and Estate is offering guided tours of their gardens and sculptures for those who want to learn more about the sites history.
The sculpture tour takes place on May 14th at 3 pm while the guided garden tour takes place on May 27th at 3pm.
It's part of the OPW'S 'Celebrating Arts and Creativity As We Age' programme as part of their Bealtaine festival.
OPW Minister and Longford Westmeath TD Kevin 'Boxer' Moran has also set Friday May 23rd, as a free admission day for all fee paying heritage sites.
Transport for Ireland will also provide free entry to sites when a local link or travel pass ticket is presented.
