Laois Cathaoirleach Conor Bergin wants to see measures taken on the village road.
Speeding and a lack of street lighting are leaving people in danger in a Laois village.
That's according to the Cathaoirleach of Laois County Council Conor Bergin who wants to see traffic calming measures introduced on the local road at Tinnakill in Coolrain.
He says residents can no longer walk on the road due to the lack of lighting.
A district engineer is investigating the road to see what works can be carried out.
