A Laois school needs major renovations works as it's no longer fit for purppose.
That's the view of Fr Paddy Byrne who also says children at Scoil Mhuire in Abbeyleix should be given a safe environment to be taught in.
He claims due to damage in the roof two classes have had to move for health and safety reasons.
