Vulnerable people in Laois are being let down when it comes to addiction.
That's according to Sinn Fein Senator Maria McCormack who's raising the issue of a lack of detox beds in Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise.
It echos calls brought forward to the Health Minister by Laois County Council and Portlaoise's ARC Project which provides education and aid to those recovering from addiction
