The Party's Laois TD Brian Stanley made the comments in response to Minister Michael Ring, who said that he doesn't take their objections to the National Broadband Plan seriously - as they refuse to go into government in the north or south.
This week saw the €3 billion plan to bring high speed internet to rural areas signed - with the project expected to start within nine weeks.
