Laois Student Rep Calling For Full-Time Guidance Counsellors To Be Reinstated

The ISSU President says they're badly needed.

The Irish Second Level Students' Union is calling for full-time career guidance counsellors to be reinstated in all schools.

Their hours were cut in 2012 - and ISSU President, Laois' Reuban Murray, says they urgently need to be restored.

He say students are not only losing out on guidance with career choices, but also help with their wellbeing, mental health, and development.
