A Midlands government TD says opposition proposals to resolve the fuel price crisis is " fantasy."
Longford-Westmeath TD Micheal Carrigy attended the meeting organised by The People of Ireland Against Fuel Prices in Moate's The Well, to hear the concerns of over 1,000 gathered people.
It comes ahead of the upcoming Budget, with the possiblity of further blockades and protests put on the table yesterday evening if measures to tackle the crisis are not put in place.
