Laois Town Still In Running For Tidy Towns Award

It's one of four places that will be inspected after they were left out of the original report.

A Laois town is still in the running to be named tidiest town -- despite the results of the competition being published last week. 

Mountrath entered the Tidy Towns in 2019 but an administrative error with their submission meant adjudicators never visited the town.

It's one of four towns who were not assessed along with Bray and Greystones in Wicklow and Glenroe in Limerick.
