A UK Labour councillor - originally from Laois - is concerned at the British approach to easing lockdown.

Restrictions are being eased today, with the Prime Minister aiming to reopen primary schools and shops on June 1st.

Mountmellick's Olivia Rowley, a councillor in Yorkshire, is monitoring the situation in Ireland, through her family in Laois.

She's petrified at the thought of effects of restarting the county too soon:
