That's the view of Mullingar's Hazel Behan, co-founder of Midlands support and advocacy organisation Eist after a woman has received justice for sexual abuse at the hands of her brother.
79 year old Seán Monaghan of The Harbour, Marketpoint in Mullingar was jailed yesterday for three years after pleading guilty to the incident over 60 years ago.
During the hearing, the court heard the life of the victim, Julie Fogarty had been changed forever 'in a bad way.'
Ms Behan co-founded the advocacy service for victims of sexual abuse - she says they get plenty of calls from those in similar situations:
