A midlands bog is being proposed as the site for a new €30m tourism development.
'Ireland's Climate House' will be based on Ballaghurt Bog, a five-hectare regenerating peatland in North Offaly, which will become a new visitor attraction aimed at addressing the country's enviromental needs.
The project has gone out to tender, and it's hoped planning permission can be submitted by July.
