Over €330k was raised earlier this year to support two-year-old Joey Conway.

A midlands boy is setting off for the United States tomorrow for live-saving surgery.

Two-year-old Joey Conway, from Tullamore, is set to fly to Chicago for treatment on a rare condition called Portal Hypertension.

Over €330,000 was raised earlier this year to support Joey, and his parents expect they could be in Chicago for around eight weeks.

His father, Tommy, says regardless of the outcome, it's important Joey has a chance:
