People Shouldn't Be Expected To Live With Barbaric Anti Social Behaviour

The Cathaoirleach of Laois County Council says people are being threatened.

The Cathaoirleach of Laois County Council believes there's "no way" the anti-social behaviour occurring in council houses would be accepted in privately rented accommodation.

Thomsina Connell is calling for the local authority to deal with their tenants who are causing street riots, threatening other residents with weapons and drug dealing in estates in Portlaoise. 

She wants increased co-operation between the council, Gardaí, and local property managers.
