Drug related crimes in Laois have seen a massive increase.
Figures from the latest Joint Policing Committee has revealed possession of drugs for sale and supply cases have jumped by 120%.
Simple possession is also up by 36% in the second quarter of this year, when compared to the same period last year.
There's also been a rise in the number of domestic disputes, with Gardaí responding to 18% more calls of that variety.
Minor assaults are up 15%, however assaults causing harm are down by over a fifth.
