Midlands Doctor Left In 'Terrible' Situation Due To Lack Of Accommodation

A midlands doctor says he's in a "terrible" situation as he can't get accommodation. 

Dr. Ali Raza Ansari hasn't been able to find a place to live since taking up a position at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise and says he's "struggling".

Dr. Ansari is staying with his friend but says doesn't want to be a burden so spends a lot of time in his car:

The accomodation crisis is making Ireland a less attractive destination for doctors, according to Dr Ansari.

He's concerned the country's reputation will suffer if the situation continues.

Dr. Ansari says it's easier to become a doctor than to find somewhere to stay in Ireland:
