There has been a serious downturn in the retention of staff since Covid.
That's according to Maíríne Gallagher, who runs The First Floor Hair and Beauty Studio in Mullingar, who also says a lot of hairdressers have decided to set up a business at home due to the pandemic.
She says the industry is facing several challeneges as people's attitudes have also changed, with many are now embracing their grey hair:
