Just under €300,000 is going to Midlands Heritage sites.
11 different projects in county's Offaly, Westmeath, Roscommon, Kerry, Kildare and Sligo are total funding of €365,000.
€240,000 will go towards repair work to the Leviathan Telescope at Birr Castle and Demesne in Offaly and conservation works to Dunsink Observatory House.
Meanwhile, the Hill of Uisneach in Westmeath alongside Kilcullen in Kildare and a geophysical survey at Rathcroghan in Roscommon will be allocated €58,000.
The aims of the fund is to support owners and custodians of sites within World Heritage Properties and Tentative List Sites in safeguarding and preserving these places for both current and future generations.
